eL4evate is a group of H.S. students that get together a couple of times a month to discover how they can Love, Live, Learn, and Lead like Jesus.  The main focus of our meetings is WHO we are as followers of Christ and what our lives as student leaders should look like.  Students in eL4evate quickly learn that being a leader isn’t all about making big decisions for the youth group; rather, it’s about modeling a servant’s heart to those we come in contact with.  When we begin to do this, we will elevate our relationship with God and others.

eL4evate Team Commitment:

I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and I desire to grow closer to Him on a daily basis.  And because I want to take my faith with Christ to the next level,

 

I am committed to:

  • Loving— Loving people as God loves me.
  • Living— Living out my faith on a daily basis at home, school, church, and everywhere that I am.
  • Learning— Learning about God, myself, and how I can become a better leader.
  • Leading— Leading my peers to initiate a relationship with Christ and elevate that relationship to     the next level.   

 What this looks like:

  • Regular church and youth group attendance.
  • Caring for other students within our youth group
  • Personal spiritual growth through Bible study and prayer.
  • Being a witness on my campus, in my neighborhood, and in my home.
  • Being an example of proper behavior during worship services, events, and activities.
  • Serving in at least one ministry within the church.
  • Recruiting a mentor to meet with me at least once a month. 

 I am excited about the following opportunities:

  • Being a part of ministry within the youth ministry.
  • Taking ownership of the Senior High Youth Ministry.
  • Completing regular devotional and ministry assignments.
  • Attending monthly e L4 e v a t e meetings on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month.
  • Attending an e L4 e v a t e Development Retreat (time to be announced later).

 Time Commitment:

  • This will range from 1 to 3 hours on a weekly basis.

Meeting Times:

  • The 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 4:45 to 6:00 PM.  This may change as notified.
